The trust ladder: observe before you commit

Adretix Inc.|

The number-one barrier to automated investing adoption is fear of losing control. People are understandably nervous about handing their money to an algorithm they cannot see or understand.

The trust ladder is SmartSwing's answer to this problem. It is a four-stage progression designed to let you build confidence at your own pace:

Stage 1 - Observe: The system trades with simulated capital while your real deposit earns sweep interest. You watch real-time performance and read AI trade theses without any risk to your capital.

Stage 2 - Verify: A single $1 real trade proves the live infrastructure works. The risk is negligible, but you confirm that connectivity, execution, and settlement all function correctly.

Stage 3 - Partial: Between 25% and 75% of your capital trades live while the rest continues in simulation. This allows side-by-side comparison. If drawdown thresholds are breached, the system automatically reverts to Observe mode.

Stage 4 - Full: 100% autonomous live trading with all risk controls active. You can pause or revert to any previous stage at any time.

Every transition between stages is initiated by you. The system will never escalate your commitment automatically. It can only reduce it — by reverting to a safer stage if risk limits are breached. This asymmetry is intentional: trust is earned, not assumed.
